Jerry is the embodiment of a gentle giant. He is a cat that while timid at first, will grow to love and seek your attention. He will stare at you curiously with his giant gorgeous green eyes, and once he recognizes that it's you, will happily search for pets on his head, chin, and even sometimes take belly rubs. Once he decides that you are his person, he will follow you from room to room and even wait outside the bathroom door for you. Make sure you have a good-sized bed, because he's sure to claim his own area to curl up and sleep with you. He is incredibly playful, and his favorite toy is a string on a stick. His big frame will make a loud sound when he's jumping and stomping around to catch the toy, and his grip is strong so don't be surprised if he manages to snatch the toy right out of your grasp. He is great with other cats. They may be weary of his huge size at first, but they'll soon realize he means no harm. He's good with well-behaved children but might run away if there's loud noises and running. He is currently eating Rx Food: Hills Science Diet Low Stress C/D Dry Chicken Flavor but could be transitioned off it in the future. He had a senior blood panel done while in rescue and there are no health concerns.
