Mickey and Donald are father and son Maine Coon mix kitties, wearing gorgeous brown tabby coats and sweet, mischievous expressions.
Son Donald is 5 years old and loves to be close to his humans, involved in whatever action is afoot. He is quite the intrepid explorer and gets excited at any opportunity to play. Once play time is finished, he is happy to lounge around and just be with his family.
Papa cat Mickey is estimated to be 6 or 7 years old. Being the sensible elder, he will take his time to get comfortable with a new situation, but once he feels safe, he’s all in! Mickey loves to be near his humans and is the definition of “cuddlebug”. No matter where you are, he will find a place to lounge nearby. His favorite spot in the house is lying in bed, curled up with his humans at night.
Both boys love to scratch, so their new home should be well stocked with lots of proper scratching material and a good set of nail clippers. They are also extremely smart, curious cats so it is recommended that things that are not cat-friendly (small objects, breakables, chemicals, or human food) be kept secure.
Mickey and Donald must be adopted as a team. They are bonded to each other so closely that even if separated for a couple hours their personalities will visibly change. They love to curl up together and clean each other, and race around the house with short interludes of play wrestle. As much as they love each other, Mickey and Donald love everyone else (2-legged or 4-legged) too, especially anyone who will play with them. They enjoy the company of other cats, children, new visitors, and may even like the company of a new doggie BFF. The boys will perfectly fit into an active household in which their new family will play with them, include them in their activities, and love them forever.
Mickey and Donald are neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations, and have tested negative for FeLV/FIV. They are very tidy boys and always use their litter box.
