Jax is around 7 years old and is a female Maine coon Mix. She has a beautiful white Ruff and gorgeous eyes.
Jax was turned into a shelter because her family had a baby and the baby was allergic. She is very attentive to her human and will follow you as quickly as her little legs will carry her.
At 13 lbs, she’s a nice size girl. She can be vocal and moody. Hand approach needs to be slow, as she tends to get very proactive when your hand comes across the front of her face. If approached from the back or the side, she does seem to do better. She does welcome petting, scratching and being picked up, but at times can be difficult.
It is recommended that she goes to a home that has had cat experience and no young children as she is unpredictable.
She seems fine with other cats and dogs.
She has had her rabies, and first FVRCP. She will get another FVRCP shot before adoption. She is spayed and has tested neg for FeLV/FIV.
She uses the litter box just fine.
