Hope, a beautiful grey tabby Maine Coon/DSH mix, was born on April 25, 2013. She came to OMC! Rescue from the Talbot County Humane Society in Maryland when she was a tiny baby, along with her sister, Faith, and her mom, Mercy, a gorgeous brown tabby Maine Coon mix.

Hope is energetic and brave, yet cautious.   She will look you up and down when you enter her room but soon after she is all over you smelling and investigating. She loves her pets and will play with your hand when rubbing her belly. She loves toys and will run around with the smaller ones in her mouth!

In classic Maine Coon style, Hope must “help” with her foster mom’s projects.  She takes it upon herself to supervise all chores, especially litter box cleaning, making sure her foster mom does it just right, then rubs all over her foster mom’s legs to signify a job well done.  With chores completed, she jumps up onto the dresser for celebratory pets.

Hope adores her sister, Faith.  They tear around their room, playing, all the time, and even cuddle together.  Hope is very bonded to Faith and the two sisters must be adopted together.  The sisters are good with other cats, and dogs as well.

Hope will be spayed in early January 2014, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is UTD on her vaccines, as appropriate for her age.  She is a tidy little lady and always uses her litter box.

Hope is located in Absecon, NJ.  If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out an adoption application for her on our web site: http://www.omcrescue.org/forms/adoption_application.php.
