Located in Blairstown, NJ (she will need to be picked up at her foster home)

Beautiful Ayla was surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her. She is having a tough time adjusting to her new foster home. She seems to have some caution when you enter the room and becomes anxious. If you stay with her for a while, she does settle down and will appreciate petting and attention. She can easily be handled and groomed. She is a very sweet girl and will need time to adjust. Her foster mom can see that she will be a very calm girl and would appreciate snuggling up on the couch for lots of human time. Ayla does enjoy belly rubs as well.

Ayla was in a home by herself, so it is not directly known how she would react to dogs or other cats. Once she is checked and cleared by the vet, she will be introduced to the other cats in the foster home.

Ayla is a Pure Breed Maine Coon. She does have IBD and will be required to be on a special prescription diet.
