Beautiful Penny is a 7-year old purebred Maine Coon who is looking for a quiet home where she can be who she is – an extra spicy girl who likes things her way. Her brilliant green eyes are reminiscent of Scarlett O’Hara in Gone with The Wind – and her purrsonality can be rather similar! Some may describe her coat as Calico, and others, perhaps, as tabby with white – either way it is thick and luxurious.
Penny does like affection and attention when she is in the mood but can get bitey and swatty when it gets to be too much. She has lived with a dog and cat in her current home and while she accepts them, she’d probably be better as an only kitty in her new home. Penny is definitely not keen on young children.
The best home for Penny would be with a cat-savvy adult family who can help Penny feel safe and loved, and perhaps learn some behavioral techniques that would make Penny feel more at ease and not so feisty.
Penny has been spayed, is up-to-date on her vaccinations, and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She is a very tidy young lady, always using her litter box. Penny also has papers documenting her purebred lineage, which will be provided with her upon adoption.
