Sweet, gentle Zuri is a 1-year old Maine Coon mix, born September 11^th, 2015, in need of a new home because the other cat in her current home has taken to attacking her. Zuri’s human wants her sweet girl to have a forever home in which she will be free of fear and the stress of always looking over her shoulder.

Zuri is an extra-loving, playful little lady. She wants to be with her human whenever possible, including sitting on the edge of the tub while her human showers, and tucking into bed with her human at night. Zuri is a very gentle cat, with a soft girly meow. When she jumps up or puts her paws on her human for attention, she never extends her claws. Zuri knows her name and will even come when called.

As well as being a love-bug, Zuri is also a super playful, fun-loving cat. Zuri chirps to alert her human to a bug or bird sighting, and she adores her toys. Zuri will play endlessly with springs and noisy balls, and finds her crinkle tunnel great fun. Zuri even plays fetch, bringing her toys back over and over as long as she has someone to toss them for her. If she loses her favorite toy, not to worry; Zuri will help herself to some interesting piece of debris in the bathroom trash to occupy her time.

Zuri is very good at keeping herself groomed and sees no needs for human-provided baths. She says a lady needs her privacy and being a big girl now she can do it herself! She does enjoy a good brushing, however.

Zuri gets along well with other cats, but it is uncertain if she enjoys the company of dogs.

Zuri has been spayed, is up-to-date on her vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She is a very tidy young lady and always uses her litter box.
