AND in this corner…his 33-inch frame weighing in at 26, “I’m not fat, I’m fluffy” pounds…give it up for ROCKY! (The crowd goes wild!) Don’t let his size fool, you, though. This gorgeous 10-year old boy with the confidence of a champion prizefighter is extremely friendly, sweet, and loves to snuggle. Rocky is super handsome, too, with the most silky soft and fluffy grey and white coat.
Rocky was rescued from a high-kill shelter 5 years ago by his loving human mama and papa. Sadly, his humans are getting older and having trouble caring for such a big boy kitty. Out of their love for Rocky, they desperately want to find Rocky the very best family with whom to live out his own senior years, well loved and cared for.
Rocky would be happiest in a home with an experienced cat family, where he gets to be the center of his humans’ attention. His size and big cat personality are intimidating to other smaller kitties, and it is not known if he would enjoy a canine or little human BFF. While Rocky is friendly and snuggly, he will let his humans know when he has had enough attention and needs some alone time (what champion doesn’t?) with a quick but harmless little nip.
Rocky is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and he has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. He is also a perfect gentleman, using his litter box always.
