The name Bella, derived from the Italian word for beautiful, fits this little kitten perfectly. Darling baby Bella is the most beautiful little Maine Coon mix, with a white and grey coat, little white socks, and crazy-long ear fluffies. Just 6 months old at the beginning of April, 2015, Bella is a typical playful kitten whose goals in life are to explore, play, and get into mischief. She adores playing with her toy mice, catnip toys, bell toy, her ball in a racetrack toy, and pretty much anything she can reach with those little white paws.
As affectionate as she is playful, Bella loves to be held and cuddled on her terms. When she is all tuckered out from playing she will cuddle up with you and take a nap. Bella is a very chatty girl, and true to her Maine Coon heritage, follows her foster mom everywhere wanting to be a part of everything that’s going on. Bella will fill her forever home with beauty and fun, and be a loyal and constant companion.
Bella is a special needs little girl, 100% blind in her left eye and partially blind in her right eye. Her blindness is due to the feline herpes virus. She has been successfully treated and the virus is dormant at this time. It will remain with her for life and she will be contagious to other kitties during flare-ups. As a result, Bella needs a forever home in which she is her new family’s one and only kitty, or a home with other kitties that also have the virus.
