Sookie, better known to her foster family as “Mama Cat”, is a beautiful, 3-year old Maine Coon mix with a fabulous Torti-colored coat splashed with white highlights. Mama Cat ( aka Sookie) was rescued from a very high kill shelter, and to her foster family’s surprise, she was pregnant when she arrived. Soon after, she gave birth to five beautiful babies, and six lives were saved that day! The babies have all been adopted into great homes, and now it’s Mama Cat’s turn to find her forever family.

Mama Cat ( aka Sookie) is a sweet, very playful girl who loves her toys and the laser pointer. She is great with kids and very patient with them. Mama Cat ( aka Sookie) follows her foster family members all around the house, chatting away, and wanting to be in the middle of everything that’s going on. Mama Cat ( aka Sookie) will be an adorable, playful, and loving member of her new family.

Mama Cat ( aka Sookie) also loves to play with the other cats and the dogs in her foster home. If her new family has a dog, she would prefer her new canine friend to be laid back and fun-loving like herself.

Mama Cat is spayed, she is up-to-date on her vaccinations, and she has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She also has perfect, lady-like litter box manners.
