Mattie is around 5 years old. She was rescued from a very high kill NY shelter. She immediately adjusted into her foster home, by laying on the bed and looking around. She was a little moody from her shelter/abandonment situation, so we allowed her time to decompress.
While she lives and tolerates other cats, we learned that all she really want to do is lay by her human ( preferably by their feet) and enjoy a good scratch and massage. She will spend the whole day laying by you and sleep with you at night.
Mattie is pretty quiet in her foster home and does not make a fuss. She moves around without a sound and just hangs out watching whatever is going on. There is a dog in her foster home. She does not interact with the dog at all, and just minds her business.
Mattie has horns on her paws. Her horns do not bother her at all and there are no health problems that we know of as a result of the horns. All that needs to be done with them is to clip them, the same as if you were clipping her regular nails.
Mattie is spayed and up to date with her vaccines. She uses the litter box. She tolerates and can live with other cats, but would be happiest in a quiet home by herself. She would not make a good companion for another cat, but would make a great companion for a human.
