Say "hello" to Sprite, a gorgeous black kitten who came to OMC from Catawba County Animal Care and Control in NC, along with her brother, Gambit and her sisters, Storm and Phoenix. At 11 weeks old, Sprite is definitely the leader of the pack! She is very outgoing and feisty and always must be in the middle of whatever's going on - whether it's with her siblings, or with her humans. Sprite also LOVES to play; in fact, she could probably play all day long! (She doesn't seem to have an "off" button!) When she's not racing around after her brother and sisters, she will sometimes pause long enough to get a few pets from her humans, but then it's back to playtime! Sprite is good with other cats and dogs, just as long as her introductions to them are not rushed. She hasn't had any exposure to children, but she would probably do well with them, too (although because of her high energy, she would do best in a home with children over the age of 10). Sprite has tested negative for FeLV/FIV and will soon be up to date on all of her shots. She will also be spayed once she is old enough. Sprite must be adopted with another kitten, unless the adopter already has a cat. She will be available for adoption on July 21st. Sprite is located in Burke, VA.
