Truffles is a Maine Coon-DSH mix, born March 23, 2013 to a beautiful grey Maine Coon mom. With her short hair, she apparently takes after her dad. She is one year old, playful and affectionate, greeting you with a sweet nuzzle to the face if you are on her level. She loves to curl up next to you when it’s time to go to sleep at night, and purr and purr and roll over to have her belly rubbed. She has a classic Maine Coon trill that she’ll “talk” with while playing or just when she has something to say. Her meow is soft and sweet. She favors toys that move (especially if her human is moving them for her, like a string or wand toy). She will hop up to grab things in the air, however, in true Maine Coon fashion, she loves “the chase” on the ground. (From their working-cat roots on farms in New England, Maine Coons are champion mousers!) She’ll capture her “prey” and carry away the spoils. Truffles is one of a litter of 6 kittens. She has been with her sister, Tucker-Lynn, since they were born and, having a strong bond, she and her sister must be adopted together. Truffles has been spayed, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is UTD on her vaccines (appropriate for her age).
