Meet Shy Guy! This gentle sweetie came to us in rough shape, suffering from hypothermia and severe dehydration, matted fur and treatable wounds. Shy Guy can be a bit cautious around children and seems fearful of men, but with time, patience and love we think he will thrive. He’s not a fan of baths, but he handles it without biting, scratching or being vocal. Though he’s quick to find his escape route when cornered and is certainly regaining muscle strength! Shy Guy enjoys being brushed and even aggressive chin scratches. His FAVORITE food is Blue Buffalo Puree pouches. When looking for a feline companion, Shy Guy might be the perfect match for you. He will need a dedicated adopter who is willing to give him the time and attention he needs to open up. He prefers to stay out of sight and under a bed, but does enjoy the daily pets when his foster crawls under the bed to spend time with him. Shy Guy would do well in a home with another friendly cat as he warms up to cats 10 times quicker than people. His engagement with his foster even increased after introducing the family cat.
