Maine Coon / Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Baby
Located in New Jersey Kittens do better adopted in pairs, or with another young cat in the home. Vada cannot be adopted out as the only cat in the home. Vada has 5 siblings in her family- Cora, Coco, Ruthie, Iris & Frodo. Her mom, Ramona is a Maine Coon Mix. All of the kittens have short hair. When Iris arrived she was very underweight and needed to be bottle feed for about 3 weeks. we were very worried about her because she also had an eye infection that would not go away. She ended up with an eye ulcer, and we were able to treat it with success. Today you can not tell she ever had a problem. Vada is doing better since moving up into the kitten room. She is getting braver every day and has started to come out more to be part of the group. She is shy and will need time to warm up. She is curious and likes chin rubs and to be held. She is not much into toys and jumping and is a bit calmer then some of her siblings. We have a special place in our heart for Vada because she was so sick when she was a baby. Today she is very healthy and doing well. She is now ready to go to her furever home ( hopefully with a sibling or friend from her foster home). Vada is up to date with her vaccines, is FeLV/FIV negative and uses the litter box. She is located in Blairstown, NJ www.omcrescue.org for an adoption application. Vada is not spayed and will require a repaid spay agreement before adoption. |
