Jim is a handsome 1-year old Grey/Black tiger Maine Coon Mix. Jim is also part Manx.

This handsome boy is looking for his special person to help bring him out of his shyness. He tends to hide due to his shyness and startles easily. Jim can be picked up and held for short periods of time. He loves for his human to sit on the floor with him and pet him. Sometimes he will jump up on your lap for more attention. He is chatty and will talk back to you if you talk to him.

Jim loves to jump and loves any games that involves jumping. His favorite toy is a feather on a string and will leap up in the air to try and get it. Jim loves crumpled up paper balls or tinfoil balls. He will also play hide and seek with you. If you run and hide, he will seek you out and “tag” you when he has found you. He will take baths with no problem. When he wants his litter changed, he will let you know by ripping open a bag of litter if he can reach it. He is a guard cat and will let you know if there are any bugs in the house. Jim is a finicky eat and finicky about his litter. He will only eat a certain type of cat food and use a certain type of cat litter.

Jim was a rescue. His current foster family has too many cats and cannot keep him. They are working with him so that he may become a more social cat.

Jim is not good with young children. It is unknown if he is good with dogs. He may be good with other cats.

Jim is not currently up to date on vaccines or combo tested for FelV/FIV. He is not declawed and not neutered. His foster family is working on getting his vaccines and getting him neutered.
