Phineas Seamus O’Grady McPhee AKA Finn Finn is a gorgeous 8 year old black grey and white Maine Coon Mix. If you are looking for a loving, affectionate, snuggly and easy-going cat, then Finn is your guy. He is a giant kitty who thinks he is a person. He loves people and will do anything to be around his people. Finn loves rubbing his face against yours and he loves it even more if you have facial hair. Finn has a very imperturbable personality. Very little bothers him when it comes to direct interaction. Finn is very patient. He has not been known to claw or bite anyone. He doesn’t mind a good brushing session but may get upset with you if there is a big mat that you are trying to get out. Finn would love a home where his family can give him all the love and attention humanly possible. Finn hates closed doors. He thinks you are hiding something from him… He will scratch at the doors until you open them. Finn can be picked up and held. He is very friendly and outgoing. Finn will wear costumes and isn’t bothered by them. Finn’s current family has had Finn since he was 2 days old. His current family is going through a lot of changes and had to move into a small apartment. It breaks his family's hearts to have to rehome him, but they want Finn to happy again and to have the room to run around. Finn is used to a bigger home with plenty of room to roam and play. Finn is not handling all the changes very well and is miserable and stressed in the small apartment and has started pulling out his fur and eating it. Finn has special needs. Finn is obese due to inactivity. Finn has seizures and the seizures scare Finn. A loud noise can trigger a seizure so it is best he is in a quiet home. He needs medication (zonisamide) every 12 hours. His new humans will not be able to miss a dose, so he needs dedicated humans to give him the medical attention he needs. Although Finn doesn’t like his medication, he is fairly easy to give pills to. He will try to spit out the pills if you don’t make sure he swallows them. Finn’s family is providing the first full year of his medication free of charge. Finn can live with other cats, but he will pick fights with them. It is preferred that Finn goes to a quiet home without other animals. He is very good with children. Finn is up to date on all vaccines, tested negative to FelV/FIV. He is not declawed and is neutered/spayed. Finn is located in Camas, WA If interested in Finn, please contact curt.justice1@gmail.com .
